Sasha Volodin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Summer Intern at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 2015, where they used data visualization and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software to analyze Hurricane Sandy data. They then joined Arlington County as a Senior Experience in 2016, working on a voice recognition project for the Raspberry Pi computer. At Carnegie Mellon University, Sasha held multiple positions including Student Intern in 2016, where they worked with a Socially-Aware Robot Assistant (SARA), and Teaching Assistant (TA) for different courses such as Database Design and Development and Application Design and Development. In 2019, Sasha worked as an Analytics Intern at Deloitte and later became the Head TA for the Database Design and Development course at Carnegie Mellon University. They also served as a Carnegie Leadership Consultant and TA for the same course in previous semesters. In 2020, Sasha joined Comcast as a Product Manager, Content Discovery, and in 2022, they transitioned to CircleCI as a Data Analyst, eventually becoming a Senior Data Analyst in 2023. Throughout their career, Sasha has demonstrated analytical skills, teaching and mentoring abilities, and experience in product management and data analysis.
Sasha Volodin completed their high school education from Washington-Lee High School from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they did not have a specified field of study. In 2014, Sasha attended the Virginia Summer Residential Governor's School for Math, Science, and Technology at Lynchburg College, where they focused on Mathematical Modeling. They went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems with an additional major in Business Administration at Carnegie Mellon University from 2016 to 2020.
