Conor Sharpe

Conor Sharpe is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in technology and finance. As Co-Founder of CircleRock Capital since November 2020, Conor focuses on multi-stage investments in exceptional technology companies, primarily between Seed and Series B stages. Conor also co-founded OYL, a leading UK specialty mushroom coffee brand recognized with a Great Taste Award in 2023. In addition, Conor serves as a Venture Scout for BACKED VC and has been an angel investor and advisor to multiple startups since 2013, earning accolades as a UKBAA Awards Finalist for Angel Investor of the Year and Exit of the Year in 2019. Previous roles include Chief Investment Officer at Swoop, a venture-backed platform, and a decade spent in commodity derivatives and credit derivatives at Sunrise Brokers LLP and ICAP, respectively. Conor holds a Master of Business Studies in Finance from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from University College Dublin.
