Alun Farrar

Alun Farrar is an Engineering Manager at CES (Container Exchange Services) since July 2022, overseeing three teams: Platform, Level 3 Support, and POS, while previously managing the DevOps Team for 18 months. Previously, Alun served as a Software Engineering Manager at Mark43 from October 2021 to July 2022, leading a team focused on public safety applications on cloud platforms Azure and AWS, utilizing Java and TypeScript. Alun has extensive experience from IAG, where a role as Senior Software Engineer Team Lead involved developing service-oriented applications and APIs, and earlier positions included Technical Team Leader at OAG, Contract Software Engineer at Colonial First State, and Programmer at Capgemini. Alun holds a degree in Business Studies with Information Technology from the University of Staffordshire and is an AWS Solution Architect certified professional.
