Juan Carlos Colín Irazábal

Juan Carlos Colín Irazábal has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Juan Carlos is currently the Head of B2C at Círculo de Crédito since May 2023. Before this, they worked at Amazon as the Head of Seller Lending from December 2021 to May 2023, where they were responsible for launching the Seller Lending program in Mexico and managing product development and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to Amazon, Juan Carlos held various positions at Gentera. Juan Carlos served as the Online Lending Deputy Director at Compartamos Banco from September 2021 to December 2021, leading a team to design and implement innovative business models. Juan Carlos also worked as the Innovation Deputy Director at Fiinlab from January 2018 to September 2021, where they mentored startups and integrated them into Gentera. Additionally, they served as the Innovation Manager & Startup Integration at Fiinlab from September 2016 to January 2018.

Before joining Gentera, Juan Carlos co-founded TiendaMaxx in April 2015, a business venture they worked on until October 2016. Juan Carlos also worked as the New Business Development Manager at ALTA Inversiones from August 2014 to October 2015, where they launched new products and developed a microfranchising model.

Juan Carlos began their career at Michael Page, where they worked as a Sr. Consultant from July 2013 to August 2014, specializing in recruitment for senior management positions in Engineering & Manufacturing and Supply Chain & Procurement. Prior to that, they worked at TECHO | TETO, a youth volunteering NGO, where they held the roles of Social Director from July 2011 to July 2013 and Regional Director from July 2010 to July 2011.

From 2004 to 2008, Juan Carlos studied at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they obtained a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Industrial Engineering.
