Macarena Avila Velasco

Macarena Avila Velasco has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Macarena is currently serving as a Product Owner Growth at Círculo de Crédito since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Konfío as a Sr Product Manager Payments from May 2022 to January 2023 and as a Product Manager from September 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Konfío, Macarena held the position of Product Manager Mobile at Clip from April 2021 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for addressing requirements, maintenance, and issue resolution for the mobile product (Clip app). Macarena achieved notable successes such as developing a new onboarding process and improving the rating and reviews on Google Play.

In these roles, they were responsible for project management, process efficiency, KPI definition, and the implementation of new products.

Macarena started their career at AXA as a Lean Navigator from January 2016 to February 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Farmacia San Pablo as an Especialista de Procesos from July 2013 to December 2015. Overall, they have gained extensive experience in product management, operations, strategy, and process improvement.

Macarena Avila Velasco attended the Instituto Politécnico Nacional- Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Química e Industrias Extractivas from 2008 to 2012. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Ingeniero Químico Industrial with a specialization in Química analítica.
