Rob Conant

CEO at Cirrent

Rob Conant has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Rob began their career in 1992 as an Engineering Lead at Pinnacle Technologies, a company offering hydraulic fracture mapping products and services for the oil and gas industry. In 1999, they moved to Onix Microsystems, where they were an Engineering Manager. In 2002, they co-founded Dust Networks, where they were Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Business Development. In 2007, they joined Trilliant as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Network Products. In 2014, they became the CEO of Cirrent. In 2019, they joined Cypress Semiconductor Corporation as Vice President of Software Product and Ecosystem, and also joined Rainforest Connection as a Board Member. Rob is currently the Vice President of Software and Ecosystem at Infineon Technologies.

Rob Conant earned their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 1993. Rob then pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the same university, which they completed in 1998. Finally, they earned their PhD in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000.
