Business Analyst (m/f) - senior
About the role:
Our Business Analysts are the backbone of our team, serving as the driving force behind our product. They leverage their understanding of client needs and product vision to create comprehensive plans that ensure our product's outstanding performance and market success.
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to bring their expertise and insights to our team. Responsibilities and duties:
Analysis of business processes and needs for the SaaS procurement product
Creating documentation that describe functional and content components of the software
Providing the IT Development with clear and concise instructions on what needs to be done
Providing constructive feedback to the IT Development team on the items they have delivered
Collaborating with the IT Development to prioritize tasks and align them with the product development goals
Assisting the QA team in functional testing of applications to verify their compliance with the defined requirements and user stories
Continuously advising and challenging the product vision, user needs and market trends
Driving the product features towards MVP (identifying crucial requirements which enable fast time-to-market)
Effective communication towards the team members and superiors
Required qualifications and skills:
At least Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or Business)
Minimum 5 years of experience, ideally in procurement-related SaaS projects
Interest in domain of procurement, with the emphasis on category management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and interpret user needs and business requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate effective communication between product management and delivery teams
Data-driven mindset, leveraging insights to make informed decisions and recommendations
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially in the context of software development and product management (writing Epics, User stories, acceptance criteria)
Focused on executing individual details with precision, detail oriented
Excellent command in written and spoken English
