Praveen Patnala

Praveen Patnala is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Cisco since April 2023, Praveen leads the engineering team for Cisco Multicloud Defense, a solution derived from the acquisition of Valtix, where Praveen held the role of Co-Founder and VP Engineering from February 2018 to March 2023. Praveen's expertise extends to advisory roles, including work with regie.ai since June 2021, and previous positions at industry leaders such as Google, Laserlike Inc., BloomReach, Yahoo!, and Cisco through the acquisition of Andiamo Systems. Praveen holds a B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
