Erica Morrison

Erica Morrison has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering and management roles. Erica currently holds the position of Vice President of Software Engineering at Cision since 2022. Within this role, Erica is responsible for leading the software engineering team and overseeing the development and operations of technical product offerings.

Prior to joining Cision, Erica worked at CSG from 2012 to 2022, where they held various leadership positions. As the Vice President of Software Engineering, they led global teams and was responsible for the entire software engineering life cycle, including software development, product operations, and organizational outcomes. Erica also focused on driving continuous improvement in technical tools, processes, solutions, and culture across the enterprise.

Before their time at CSG, Erica worked at Union Pacific Railroad as a Software Engineer from 2011 to 2012. Erica was responsible for software development activities within the organization.

Erica's earlier experience includes a significant tenure at Lockheed Martin from 2001 to 2011. Erica held the positions of Software and Architecture Manager and Software Engineer during their time there. In their management role, Erica planned, executed, and coordinated software development activities for a web application project. Erica managed a team of software engineers and oversaw architecture, design, development, testing, and documentation. As a Software Engineer, Erica completed various assignments, including acting as a technical lead on a project for USSTRATCOM and working with NASA on the replacement for the space shuttle.
