Christopher Ward has extensive work experience in the financial industry, starting with their current role as an Options Market Making Quantitative Researcher at Citadel Securities since July 2015. Prior to that, they worked at UBS Investment Bank from April 2010 to July 2015, holding the positions of Head Quant, Electronic Volatility Trading, and Managing Director/Head of Quantitative Strategies Infrastructure. Before UBS, Christopher was at Sun Trading LLC as a Researcher from May 2008 to September 2009. Christopher also worked at Deutsche Bank as an Equity Derivatives Strategist from April 2001 to April 2008. Prior to that, they worked at TradeLink as a Researcher from February 1995 to March 2001. Christopher started their career at AHL as a Researcher from 1993 to 1995 and at the Atomic Energy Authority as a Researcher from 1987 to 1993.
Christopher Ward obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge in the span of 1984 to 1987. Following this, from 1988 to 1993, they pursued a PhD in Nuclear Physics at Imperial College London.
