Filip Hanzely has a diverse work experience in the fields of quantitative research, academia, and mathematics. Filip is currently working as a Quantitative Researcher at Citadel Securities, a position they started in June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Wincent as a Quantitative Researcher from September 2021 to May 2023.

Filip also delivered lectures at preparation camps for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) and the Central European Mathematical Olympiad (MEMO).

Filip Hanzely's education history began in 2013 when they enrolled at Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave. From 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Bakalář (Bc.) degree in Economic and Financial Mathematics. After completing their undergraduate studies, they joined The University of Edinburgh in 2016 for a Master's degree in Mathematics and Statistics, which they completed in 2017. Following this, Filip Hanzely pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Optimization/Machine Learning at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) from 2017 to 2020.
