John Xie

John Xie has demonstrated a strong commitment to both academia and the finance industry. John began their work experience as an Accounting Intern at PKF in July 2021, where they gained valuable experience in the field of accounting. From November 2022 to February 2023, John excelled as a Quantitative Trading Intern at Optiver, further expanding their knowledge and skills in the financial sector. John then moved on to Citadel Securities in June 2023, where they currently hold a position as a Quantitative Trading Intern. John's academic pursuits are also evident in their role as an Academic Tutor at the University of Sydney, which they have held since February 2023. Overall, John Xie's diverse work experience showcases their dedication and expertise in both academia and finance.

John Xie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Sydney. Prior to that, they completed their Higher Schools Certificate from North Sydney Boys High School. In addition, they have obtained the HSK (Mandarin) Level 6 certification from the Hanban Confucius Institute in February 2021.
