Julio Camargo

Julio Camargo has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Julio started their career as a Software Engineer at BM&F Bovespa in 2008, where they worked until 2010. Julio then joined Morgan Stanley as an Associate - Senior Software Engineer from 2010 to 2012. Following that, they worked at Goldman Sachs as Vice President - Securities Engineering - FICC from 2012 to 2020. Julio then joined Bloomberg LP as a Senior Software Engineer in 2020 and worked until 2023. Currently, they are employed at Citadel Securities as a Software Engineer starting from 2023.

Julio Camargo has a well-rounded education history, with a focus on data science, business management, financial engineering, and computer science. Julio obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo (USP) between 2004 and 2008. Julio furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Financial Engineering at USP from 2012 to 2013. Building on their expertise, they then attended Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) from 2014 to 2015, where they earned an MBA degree in Business Management. Seeking to enhance their skills in data analysis, Julio pursued a Master's degree in Data Science at The Johns Hopkins University from 2017 to 2019.
