Riri Jiang

Quantitative Trading Intern at Citadel Securities

Riri Jiang has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Coach and Captain at Drive Sports Badminton Club from 2013 to 2020. In 2017, they co-founded and became the President of Math Attack Society, a non-profit organization focused on promoting mathematics education for junior high school students in Canada. During their time with Math Attack Society, they secured significant funding and recognition from various organizations.

In 2018, Riri took on the role of Director at Operation Med School Career Conferences, where they contributed to organizing career conferences for aspiring medical professionals. Simultaneously, they also worked as a Biochemical Researcher at the University of Calgary, conducting research on the impact of plant flavonols on tumor-causing enzymes.

Riri's academic achievements include being a recipient of the TD Canada National Scholarship in 2020, recognizing their outstanding community service and leadership. Riri also participated in the INSIGHT Trading Program at Jane Street in 2020-2021. In 2021, they served as an Online Intensive Scholar at Girls Who Invest.

In 2022, Riri worked as a Financial Engineering Intern at Fannie Mae, followed by roles as a Quant Trading Intern at Hudson River Trading and Citadel Securities in 2023. Throughout their work experience, Riri has demonstrated a strong interest in quantitative trading and financial engineering.

Riri Jiang began their education in 2017 at Old Scona Academic High School, where they completed the Full IB Diploma and received their Alberta High School Diploma in 2018. Riri continued their studies at Western Canada High School from 2018 to 2020, pursuing the IB Diploma Programme and obtaining their Alberta High School Diploma. In 2020, Riri enrolled at Princeton University, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Operations Research and Financial Engineering. Riri is expected to graduate in 2024.
