William Steinfeld's work experience includes positions at various companies.
William is currently working at Citadel Securities as an OTC ADR Trader since May 2021.
Prior to this, they worked at Citadel as an Associate from May 2018. In this role, they supported a multi-national hedge fund and market maker and was responsible for delivering market-leading investment returns. William used coding languages Python and VBA for tasks such as determining operational cost-effectiveness and developing subroutines and scripts.
Before Citadel, they worked at Merrill Lynch as a Private Wealth Management Intern for a few months in 2017. During this time, they conducted research, prepared financial models, and constructed asset allocations based on client profiles.
In 2016, they interned at ICAP as an Energy Broker Intern. In this role, they recorded trade details, constructed spreadsheets, and gained knowledge of terminology and economic indicators related to futures contracts.
Their first internship was at The Rawlings Group in 2015, where they worked as a Finance Intern. Here, they drafted legal contracts, managed outstanding checks, and assisted with financial processes.
William Steinfeld attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics. In terms of additional certifications, William acquired the Securities Industry Essentials certification from FINRA in May 2021. Subsequently, in June 2021, they obtained the Series 57 - Securities Trader Representative certification and the Series 7 - General Securities Representative certification, both also from FINRA.
