Matthew Saal

Matthew Saal is an accomplished media executive with extensive experience in content creation and communications. Currently serving as the Global Head of Content at Citadel since January 2022, Matthew previously held roles as Senior Advisor at Empire State Development and Senior Advisor for Communications in the New York State Executive Chamber. Notable achievements include co-creating and executive producing "The Rachel Maddow Show" at MSNBC and creating "The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations" at Bloomberg LP. Matthew's early career includes positions as Senior Broadcast Producer at NBC News, Managing Editor at Grant's Interest Rate Observer, and Senior Editor at George Magazine. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University.
