Rick Lane

Rick Lane is Chief Technology Officer of Core Engineering at Citadel. He leads the engineering teams responsible for the resiliency of the firm’s trading and business infrastructure.

Prior to joining Citadel, he spent more than a decade at Trading Technologies, most recently serving as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Before taking on the Trading Technologies CEO role, he served as the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Rick co-founded the professional trading software firm TickIt Trading Systems, which was acquired by Trading Technologies in 2010.

Rick received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
