Jose Fernando Forero Quintero

R&d Project Engineer at CITCEA-UPC

Jose Fernando Forero Quintero serves as an R&D Project Engineer at CITCEA-UPC since May 2023 and is simultaneously a PhD candidate at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) since January 2021. With a diverse background in electrical engineering, Jose is also a freelance QAQC Electrical Inspector, providing expertise in electrical work design, construction, and planning, as well as energy loss recovery and equipment inspection. Jose has held various roles, including Supply Chain Service Assistant and QAQC Electrical Inspector at OCA International from 2017 to 2023, and has previous experience as a coordination engineer and resident engineer in the residential and commercial sectors in Cali and Barranquilla, Colombia. Jose holds a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering and is pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering Technologies at UPC, alongside a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander.
