Manas Samanta

Manas Samanta has a vast amount of experience in project and engineering management. MANAS has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. MANAS started their career in 1981 as a Resident Site Manager at Simon Carves India Ltd., where they managed site work and coordinated with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, vendors, and suppliers. MANAS then worked at Kesar Petro Products Ltd. from 1990 to 1993 as a Project Manager/Manager - Mechanical, overseeing a Bisphenol A plant project. From 1993 to 1995, they served as an EPC Project Manager at ATV Projects Ltd., managing projects for IOCL KBPL TOPS & KSEB DGPP with SEMT Pielstick. MANAS joined Aker Powergas Pvt Ltd. in 1995 and served as a Project Manager until 2009, managing various engineering projects. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Project Manager at Aker Powergas Pvt Ltd., providing project leadership and guidance to local and geographically-extended teams. MANAS was also accountable for project management, detail engineering, and procurement assistance for multiple fast-track projects in the oil and gas industry. In 2013, they became the Deputy General Manager - Projects at Aker Powergas Pvt Ltd., responsible for engineering management of modifications of offshore platforms and pipelines. In 2015, they joined Citec Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. as the Head of Project Management Office, and currently, they are searching for a new job opportunity.

Manas Samanta completed their Higher Secondary education in Science at Burdwan Town School from 1969 to 1976. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur, from 1976 to 1981.
