Field-Programmable Gate Arrays Engineer at citema systems GmbH

Federico Bonanni has a diverse work experience in the field of electronics and FPGA engineering. Federico currently holds the position of FPGA Engineer at Rohde & Schwarz and Field-Programmable Gate Arrays Engineer at citema systems GmbH, starting in 2022. Previously, they worked as a Digital Electronic Engineer at OHB SE from 2020 to 2022.

Prior to OHB SE, Federico held the role of Hardware and FPGA Developer at Elettronica S.p.A. from 2014 to 2020. During this time, they were responsible for a complex electronic board, where they conducted feasibility studies, transformed needs into requirements, and developed test plans. Federico also performed bug fixing, component aging management, and provided training to new employees.

Before Elettronica S.p.A., Federico worked as a Hardware and Firmware Developer Consultant at Selex ES from 2013 to 2014, where they developed auxiliary avionics equipment and implemented hardware redundancy units using VHDL language.

In 2011, Federico worked as a Hardware and Firmware Developer at Segula Technologies Italia, where they developed HDLC network protocol and conducted firmware development for peripheral devices.

Federico also underwent training during their Master's degree at Skytechnology SRL, where they studied and designed echo cancelers for DVB-T networks. Federico also received Bachelor's degree training at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" with ATMEL, where they implemented a fine-grain reconfigurable functional unit for embedded processors using VHDL language.

Federico Bonanni has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. Federico obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, which they attended from 2005 until 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering at the same institution, completing it between 2008 and 2011. Prior to these higher education studies, Federico earned their High School Degree in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician from ITIS A.Volta, where they studied from 2000 to 2005.
