Jael Torres

Jael Torres is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance operations. Currently serving as Vice President Operations Senior Manager at Citibanamex since March 2018, Jael has held various leadership positions within the organization, including AML Senior Manager and Assistant Vice President Team Lead. Prior to Citibanamex, Jael worked as a legal advisor at Autónomo and as a Compliance Specialist at Credit Suisse, where responsibilities included coordinating compliance systems and drafting regulatory manuals. Earlier experience includes internships in legal research and contract review at organizations such as Alto al Secuestro A.C. and the Instituto Nacional de Medicina Genómica. Jael holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey, obtained in 2015.
