Michael Dubin has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Michael served as the Managing Member of Dorset Fund Management LLC from 2017 onwards. Prior to that, they were the Director and Treasurer at Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, starting in 2013. From 2005 to 2007, they held the role of Director & Treasurer at PlaNet Finance. Michael spent a significant portion of their career at Silvercrest Asset Management, where they were a Managing Director from 2007 to 2017. Before that, they were a Partner at Powers & Dubin, a boutique hedge fund-of-fund, from 1990 to 2007. In their earlier years, they held various positions at Town School, Morgan Stanley/GFTA, and Brown Brothers Harriman, where they served as President, Senior Manager, and Head of International Financial Advisory Service, respectively.

Michael Dubin attended Yale University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. Michael then pursued further education at Harvard Business School, where they earned a PhD in International Finance and received the degree of Doctorate of Business Administration.
