Abrar Hussain

Abrar Hussain is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in anti-money laundering (AML) investigations and compliance. Currently serving as Vice President at Citi since March 2014, Abrar oversees case dispositions and suspicious activity reports while liaising with international branches and correspondent banks. Previously, as Assistant Vice President at the National Bank of Pakistan, Abrar was instrumental in reviewing and updating the compliance program and identifying suspicious transactions. Early career roles include serving as a Loan Officer at First Union Mortgage Inc. and inspecting banks for compliance at the State Bank of Pakistan. Abrar holds an MBA in Banking and Finance along with a BS in Business Administration from Greenwich University.
