Alfred Jayaprakash

Alfred Jayaprakash is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leading engineering and operations teams within major financial institutions. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Regional Head of Cybersecurity Authentication Infrastructure & Operations at Citi since October 2021, Alfred oversees the management of authentication platforms, focusing on people management, technology upgrades, and incident handling. Prior to this role, Alfred worked at Deutsche Bank for over a decade, where responsibilities included leading engineering teams for enterprise authentication solutions, modernizing legacy applications, and driving cloud transformation initiatives. Alfred’s expertise encompasses enterprise single sign-on and multi-factor authentication deployments, supported by a strong educational background with a Master of Technology from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Madras.
