Bálint Farkas

Bálint Farkas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in network security and engineering, currently serving as the Global Engineering Lead for Internet and User Security at Citi since September 2013. In this senior vice president role, Bálint drives the Perimeter Security Strategy and leads a global engineering team while mentoring younger talents. Previous roles at Citi include vice president positions as Network Security Engineering Lead and Senior Network Security Engineer, where Bálint developed strategic roadmaps and contributed to team professional development. Earlier experiences include network system engineering at LAN Számítástechnikai Szolgáltató Kft. and Albacomp Zrt., along with a foundation in application development at Intercomp Global Services. Bálint holds dual degrees in Software Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
