Bence Birkas

Bence Birkas currently serves as the EMEA Cyber Threat Management Team Lead at Citi, having held various roles in cyber threat management since July 2017. Prior to this, Bence worked at NISZ National Infocommunications Service Provider Ltd. as an IT security senior expert, focusing on compliance, internal awareness campaigns, and managing an online reporting hotline. Bence began a career in international relations at CERT-Hungary, contributing significantly to the governmental CERT's international affairs. Earlier professional experience includes project management for the National Current Research Information System at BME OMIKK. Bence holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from Corvinus University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering with a finance specialty from Károly Róbert College, and a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Károli Gáspár Református Egyetem.
