Helena Beltran-Lopez

Helena Beltran-Lopez is a seasoned risk executive with extensive experience in credit risk management across multiple financial institutions. Currently serving as the Head of Cobranded Card Risk at Citi since January 2022, Helena oversees the co-branded card credit risk portfolio and develops comprehensive credit strategies in collaboration with strategic partners. Prior to this role, Helena held several impactful positions at PNC from October 2012 to January 2022, including Head of Credit Decisioning and Analytics for Retail Lending, where a new credit strategy group was established. Additional roles at PNC included SVP, Credit Portfolio and Modeling Manager, and earlier experience as a Quantitative Analyst at Fifth Third Asset Management and Université catholique de Louvain. Helena holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Université catholique de Louvain, earned between 1999 and 2005.
