Nabeel Ansari

Nabeel Ansari is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Director and EMEA Head of E-Trading Risk & Controls at Citi since April 2018. Previously, Nabeel held the position of Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Banking and Capital Markets Advisory group, specializing in wholesale markets reform and forensic investigations. With a background as a fixed income derivatives trader, Nabeel possesses in-depth knowledge of E-Trading/Algo Control Framework, trade surveillance, and regulatory compliance, including MiFID II and the FX Global Code. Nabeel's career includes roles at various trading firms and asset management companies, beginning as an intern at The Royal Bank of Scotland and culminating in leadership positions that emphasize risk management and trading strategy. Nabeel holds a BSc Honours degree in Mathematics & Computer Science from King's College London.
