Tao Liu

Tao Liu is an experienced tax professional currently serving as Managing Director and Head of U.S. Tax Reporting at Citi since June 2010. Prior to this role, Tao held the position of U.S. Tax Controller at Chartis Inc. from March 2007 to May 2010, and served as Vice President of International Tax Financial Reporting and Compliance at Lehman Brothers from September 2005 to February 2007. Additional experience includes a tenure as Tax Manager at PwC from January 1998 to September 2005, and a consultancy role at the State Administration of Taxation in the Sichuan Province Office in Chengdu, China, from July 1992 to February 1995. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Accounting from Pace University (1997-2000) and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Central University of Finance and Economics (1988-1992).
