Yazad S. Parakh

Yazad S. Parakh is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with extensive experience in operational risk management and internal audit across prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Operational Risk Management in Financial Risk Oversight at Citi since February 2022, Yazad previously held the role of Vice President for Audit Quality Assurance focusing on Regulatory Issue Validation. Prior to joining Citi, Yazad worked at Barclays from January 2014 to February 2022 as Vice President of Internal Audit for Business Banking & Wealth Management and Assistant Vice President for Corporate Banking Internal Audit. Yazad began the professional career at Deloitte, where numerous positions in External Audit within the Investment Management & Private Equity Group were held from September 2008 to December 2013. Academically, Yazad completed a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance at The London School of Economics and Political Science and further pursued professional qualifications from the ICAEW and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
