Heather Skeehan, AIA has an extensive work experience history. Heather started as a Graphic/Web Designer at Ken Tate Architect in 2006. Moving on to work as a Visual Resources Assistant/A/V Tech at Tulane School of Architecture Slide Library. Heather then became a Graphic Designer at Tulane URBAN|build. Later, they worked as an Intern Architect/Personal Assistant at Arthur Q Davis, FAIA. Subsequently, they joined ZGF Architects as an Associate, Architect, Registered & LEED AP BD&C, where they handled various architectural and project management roles. Following this, they worked as a Design Manager at GLY Construction for six years before taking on the role of Head of SDI (Strategic Design Implementation) at citizenM hotels in 2020. Their responsibilities included overseeing digital twin initiatives and global prototype documentation. Throughout their career, they have contributed significantly to communication, project coordination, and mentorship within the architecture and construction industry.

Heather Skeehan, AIA received their Masters of Architecture from Tulane University in 2007. In 2015, they completed their Certificate in Construction Management from the University of Washington. Additionally, in 2005, they participated in a Domestic Semester Abroad program at the University of Denver.
