The leadership team at CitizenM has a wide range of experience in many different industries, including retail, hospitality, real estate, construction, business administration, economics, law, food and wine, and purchasing and supply chain management. They have also studied at some of the world's most prestigious universities, including the Technische Universität Braunschweig, the Ecole d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville, New York University, Polytechnic University Tilburg, and the De Baak.
