Sarah Kitchens

Sarah Kitchens is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Citizens of the World Charter Schools since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Elementary School Teacher at Laurel Hall School from June 2021 to June 2023 and at Brawerman Elementary School from December 2018 to June 2021. Sarah also worked as a Co-Teacher at Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District from September 2018 to June 2021 and gained initial teaching experience as a Student Teacher at the same district. Additional early experience includes serving as a Substitute Teacher at Pacific Oaks College & Children’s School from November 2015 to January 2017. Sarah holds a Master’s of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Elementary Education and Teaching from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, earned in 2018, and completed undergraduate studies at Marymount California University between 2015 and 2017.
