Elizabeth Micci is the managing director of program at Citizen Schools. Elizabeth has over thirteen years of experience in education. Elizabeth started their career as an investor services intern at Brown Brothers Harriman. After that, they became a corps member at Teach For America. After their time there, they became an academy administrator at Houston ISD. In 2017, they became the secondary school principal at The Harbour School in Hong Kong, a position they held until 2020.

Elizabeth Micci received their Doctor of Education Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Elizabeth also holds a Master of Arts in English from Middlebury College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & English from Washington and Lee University. In 2009, they studied at the University of Oxford during Summer Term and at UCL during Fall Term 2008.
