Laura Vila

Laura Vila is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in financial management and governance roles. Currently serving as a Board Member at Citla Energy and Altán Redes since 2022 and 2019 respectively, Laura also holds a long-standing position at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as a Senior Investment Officer in the Asset Management Company since 2005. Laura's past roles at IFC include Acting Country Manager for Mexico and Portfolio Officer. Previously, Laura worked as a Professional Expert at Banco de Republica in 2004. Educational qualifications include a High Performing Boards Certificate from IMD, a Leadership Program for Women in Boards from Programa de Liderazgo de Mujeres en Juntas Directivas, a Master's in Financial Engineering, a Master's in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor's in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes.
