Jock Dalby

Jock Dalby has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jock began as a Duty Manager at Kitty O'Shea's in 2007 before moving on to become an Assistant Manager at The Exchange Hotel. In 2010, they worked as a Chef de rang at Bar Boulud, where they ensured flawless service during the launch of Michelin star chef Daniel Bouloud's first London restaurant. Jock then became an Assistant Manager at ETM Group London in 2011 before taking on the role of General Manager at Brew | Craft Beer Pub in Rotorua, where they implemented systems and achieved significant revenue growth. Jock later served as General Manager at Wellington Hospitality Group and then co-founded and served as CEO of MightyGem, an online tool for hospitality operators. Jock worked as a Web Developer for Hospo360 Ltd and the Ministry of Education of New Zealand. Jock then joined Bank of New Zealand as a Frontend Developer, where they completed UI stories and built a reusable Angular-CLI component library. Currently, they are the Director of Frontend Engineering at CitrusAd.

Jock Dalby completed a Web Development program at Enspiral Dev Academy in Wellington from 2016 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, they obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp. In 2011, Jock earned an Associate's Degree in WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. In the previous year, 2010 to 2011, they also received an Associate's Degree in WSET Level 2 Intermediate Certificate in Wines & Spirits from the same institution.
