Rozena Varghese, PharmD, CMPP™

Rozena Varghese, PharmD, CMPP™ has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Rozena currently serves as the Scientific Director at The Curry Rockefeller Group, LLC since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ICON plc for four years, holding the position of Associate Scientific Director from July 2017 to December 2021.

During their career, they also worked as a Medical Writing Consultant at Integrity Continuing Education, Inc. from December 2020 to January 2021 and at Pharmacy Times Office of Continuing Professional Education from December 2013 to March 2018.

Additionally, Rozena has held various roles at MedVal Scientific Information Services, LLC. Rozena was the Scientific Manager/Medical Writer & Director, Medical Communications Fellowship from October 2015 to July 2017, a Medical Writer from July 2014 to October 2015, a Postdoctoral Fellow in Medical Communications from July 2013 to June 2014, and a Medical Writing Consultant from March 2013 to June 2013.

Furthermore, they gained experience as a Medical Writing Consultant, Worldwide Medical Content - Oncology at Bristol-Myers Squibb from October 2014 to June 2015. Prior to this, they worked as a Pharmacy Extern, Regulatory Affairs at Novartis from February 2013 to March 2013 and as a Pharmacy Extern, Ambulatory Care at The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company from March 2013 to April 2013.

Rozena Varghese also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia from July 2013 to June 2014.

Rozena Varghese, PharmD, CMPP™ received their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Rutgers University in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at John P. Stevens High School from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Rozena has obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) from the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals in 2015. Rozena also holds a Resident and Industry Fellow Teaching Certificate from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, which they earned in 2014. Rozena is a Registered Pharmacist licensed by the State of New Jersey since November 2013. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications in Pharmacy Immunization from the American Pharmacists Association in November 2011, and in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association in September 2011.
