Diana Salazar

Diana Salazar is an experienced professional in the fields of behavioral health, social services, and community partnerships, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Children, Youth & Family (Behavioral Health Services-Business) at the City and County of San Francisco since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Director at the Oakland Housing Authority and Division Director at the City of Seattle, where management of significant budgets and strategic planning played key roles. Diana has led various programs aimed at assisting vulnerable populations including homeless individuals, formerly incarcerated clients, and at-risk youth, showcasing strong skills in program evaluation, compliance, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Educationally, Diana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UCLA and a Master of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco, with ongoing studies at the University of Washington.
