Margaret Renas

Margaret Renas, P.E., LEED AP, currently serves as the owner and meditation teacher at Peace In Meditation, LLC, focusing on promoting love and compassion through inclusive meditation classes and workshops since September 2023. Margaret also contributes as a professional math tutor at Malcolm X College and offers math tutoring through Math by Margaret, with a specialization in various math subjects since May 2020. Previously, Margaret held significant roles as Lead-Community & Brownfield Revitalization at Delta Institute, driving environmental and sustainability projects over nearly a decade, and as an Environmental Engineer at Burns & McDonnell, managing hazardous waste site remediation projects. Margaret's foundational experience includes financial analysis of environmental liabilities as a Senior Business Development/Financial Analyst at CNA Insurance. Academic qualifications include a Professional Masters in Environmental Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Management/Accounting from Purdue University.
