Wesley Lau

Wesley Lau is currently the Head of Fundraising at CITY GATEWAY. Wesley has over 10 years of experience in fundraising and event management, with a focus on the automobile and motorsports industry.

Lau started their career as a Fundraising Officer at the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association in 2009. Wesley then moved on to become the Head of Corporate Events & Motorsports at the Hong Kong Automobile Association in 2013. In this role, they were responsible for business development, event management, and relationship management with automobile and motorsports brands in Hong Kong and Asia.

In 2016, Lau became the General Manager of Goldenport Motor Culture Development (Beijing) Co. Ltd., where they oversaw business development and project management of automobile and motorsports projects in China.

Most recently, Lau worked as a Senior Manager (Development) at HKUST from August 2018 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for business development and relationship management in the higher education sector.

Wesley Lau completed a Bachelor of Economics at Jinan University, focusing on international economics and trade. Wesley then went on to complete an MSc in Public Policy at the University of Bristol.
