Chris Deptula

Chris Deptula is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in third party risk oversight and compliance. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Third Party Risk Management at City National Bank since March 2023, Chris previously held the role of Vice President for Third Party Risk Management at State Street, where responsibilities included policy creation, oversight of vendor compliance, and risk assessment management. Previous roles include Manager of Investments Compliance at Liberty Mutual Insurance, with accountability for SOX control programs and SEC examination readiness, as well as significant contributions in risk and compliance during tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Chris holds a Master's degree in Accountancy from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting Information Systems from Bentley University.
