Shannon Stearns

Shannon Stearns is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as the Employee Benefits Coordinator for the City of Ann Arbor since July 2023. Previously, Shannon held the position of Human Resources Coordinator at SmithGroup from June 2020 to June 2023, providing HR generalist services including employee support on benefits and company policies for their Detroit and Pittsburgh offices. Prior experience includes roles as Human Resources Coordinator and Assistant at Quadriga Group, along with an Administrative Assistant and Receptionist position. Shannon began a career in HR as a Receptionist at The Action Benefits Company. Shannon earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hope College in 2016.
