Matt Busby

Matt Busby currently serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Apache Junction, a position held since October 2007, where responsibilities include assisting the City Manager and overseeing ten city department directors. Previously, Matt Busby served as the Assistant to the City Manager, managing the city’s budget development and acting as the Intergovernmental Liaison. Prior experience includes a role as a Fiscal Analyst for the Joint Legislative Budget Committee, contributing to budget recommendations and assisting with the state budget process. Additionally, experience includes an internship at the Office of the Arizona State Treasurer, focusing on cost analysis and public debt research, and a position as a Case/Trial Assistant at Bowman and Brooke LLP. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Public Administration from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Brigham Young University.
