Josh Mejia

Josh Mejia serves as an Economic Development Specialist for the City of Arlington since April 2024, while also fulfilling the role of Chief Executive Officer at Mejia & Company since January 2020, focusing on economic strategies for rural and medium-sized communities. Previously, Josh held positions as President and Chief Executive Officer of the McAllen Chamber of Commerce from June 2022 to August 2023, and Chief Executive Officer at the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation from November 2016 to June 2022, where a team was led to foster collaboration among various economic stakeholders. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Government Relations at Pivot Group and Creative Director at RGV SPOTLIGHT, as well as Business Operations Manager and AppleCare Advisor at Apple. Education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from both the University of Texas at Brownsville and Brigham Young University - Idaho.
