Gabriella Bommer Sphr, Shrm-Scp, Ccp, Ipma-Hr Scp

Gabriella Bommer SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP, IPMA-HR SCP has over 20 years of work experience in human resources. Gabriella'smost recent position was as the Director of Human Resources for the City of Arvada, where they provided leadership and direction for the department. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy Director of Human Resources for the same organization, overseeing daily operations and recruitment programs. Gabriella also worked as a Senior Human Resources Manager at Cruise West, where they managed recruitment and employment programs. Earlier in their career, Gabriella held various roles at The Seattle Times and Orange County Department of Education, where they gained experience in full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, and HR administration.

Gabriella Bommer SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP, IPMA-HR SCP obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, where they studied from 1988 to 1993.

In addition to their degree, Gabriella has acquired several certifications throughout their career. Gabriella achieved the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in January 2005. In December 2014, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In September 2016, they earned the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from WorldatWork. Lastly, in May 2019, they obtained the IPMA - Senior Certified Professional (SCP) certification from the IPMA-HR.
