Scott Jarvis

Scott Jarvis has extensive experience in human resources and law enforcement. Currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner for the City of Arvada since January 2018, Scott acts as a consultant on employee relations, city policies, and compliance with laws. Prior to this, from August 1995 to January 2018, Scott held various roles within the City of Arvada Police Department, including Police Sergeant, where responsibilities included managing patrol officers and facilitating skill development, and Police Officer, focusing on criminal investigations and training. Scott earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Colorado State University between 1988 and 1992.
