Matt Bedsole

Matt Bedsole has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Matt is currently the Director of Housing Innovation Lab in the Office of the Mayor at the City of Atlanta. Before this role, they served as the Assistant Director of the Office of Housing and Community Development in the same organization. Prior to joining the City of Atlanta, Matt worked as a Senior Analyst at HR&A Advisors. Matt also has experience as a Senior Planner and a Planner II at APD Urban Planning & Management, LLC. Additionally, they worked as a Fellow at the same organization. Matt's early experience includes an internship at the City of Woodstock, Georgia, and a role as an Analyst at GSMA. Matt started their career as a Research Assistant at KRC Research.

Matt Bedsole earned a Master of City and Regional Planning degree in Urban Design and Community Development from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science at The University of Georgia from 2007 to 2011. In December 2019, Matt obtained the Certified Planner (AICP) certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
