Michael Prowse

Michael Prowse serves as the Chief Administrative Officer and City Manager for the City of Barrie since October 2003, leading the organization in delivering high-quality services aligned with city policies and strategic goals. Prowse has also held the position of City Councillor for Ward Six, overseeing significant budgets and ensuring the execution of strategic objectives for the constituency. Prior experience includes executive roles at G&K Services, starting as a Branch Manager and progressing to General Manager with oversight of multiple production plants and branches. Prowse's educational background includes a Law Enforcement degree from Seneca Polytechnic.
