Naveed Ashraf

Naveed Ashraf is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in information systems and management. Currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer and IT Director for the City of Vallejo, California, since September 2019, Naveed is focused on developing innovative strategies and the city’s annual Innovation work plan. Additionally, from March 2014 to present, Naveed has been the Information Technology Manager for the City of Benicia, overseeing the city's network and technology infrastructure to enhance its competitiveness. Prior experience includes a significant tenure as the Director of Information Systems at Meyer Corporation, a leading cookware manufacturer in the U.S., from November 1997 to March 2014. Naveed holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and multiple associate degrees in Psychology and Computer Science from Solano Community College.
