Sarah (Terherst) Shawky serves as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Benicia since August 2018, overseeing operations for the City Manager's Office, managing a team, and enhancing public engagement through the establishment of a Communications Team. Responsibilities include managing significant emergency communications and improving citywide administrative policies, as well as successfully managing multiple grants for community-focused projects. Education credentials include a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations.
